NATIONAL SUMMARY
Periods of rain and storms will soak portions of the
Mississippi Valley tomorrow before shifting into the Ohio
Valley late. Overnight, rain spreading over the Plains will
transition to snow and ice. Localized flooding can occur as
a result of heavy downpours, while the overnight winter
weather brings the risk of additional travel disruptions.
Meanwhile, morning flurries will pepper northern Minnesota
and Wisconsin. Across the West, snow showers will spread
across the northern and central Rockies. A few showers will
dot the Northwest coastline. Residents in Southwestern
states will remain largely dry with cooler conditions.
Abundant sunshine will spread over Northern California,
although gusty winds will target the coast.
