_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Yet another day of severe thunderstorms is expected for the
High Plains tomorrow, stretching from the Canadian border in
central North Dakota to the Mexican border with the Big Bend
of Texas. Hail and damaging winds could accompany any
storms. Elsewhere, widely separated thunderstorms will
develop through the day in mainly northern sections of the
Intermountain West, with much of the Southwest remaining
dry. Dry conditions are also in store from the Northeast
into the Midwest and across much of the Gulf coast region,
but the Southeast and the mid-Atlantic will continue to face
impacts from a coastal storm as it pushes slowly northward.
This storm will bring another day of heavy rain and locally
strong winds as well as rough surf, coastal flooding and the
potential for rip currents.
