The basketball version of the Egg Bowl was played in Starkville this past weekend. On Saturday, the men tangled as the Bulldogs came away with a hard earned 84-81 overtime victory over the Rebels. It was the 271st contest between the in-state rivals. The Bulldogs' win was their 151st in the series.
