On October 18, 2021, Billy J. Ivey of Quitman, MS, completed his earthly journey and entered Heaven after a hard fought battle with pulmonary fibrosis. He was born on November 7, 1933, to George Lawrence, Sr. and Lois Ivey in Clarke County, MS. Billy graduated from Pachuta High School and joined the United States Air Force in 1952.
