Clarke County narcotics officers made eight arrests Wednesday after an investigation that lasted several months. Chief Deputy Barry White stated the arrests were the result of an investigation by drug agents. The individuals were arrested at their residents and some at their work. Justice Court Judge Terry Bonner set the bonds Thursday morning. Those arrested were:
Shedarion Davis, one count of possession of controlled substance. Bond set at $5,000
Dustin Spelich, one count of possession of controlled substance. Bond set at $5,000
Edward Bland, two counts of sale of crack cocaine; one count possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute. Bond set at $15,000
LaVandious Dear, one count sale of marijuana, one count sale of marijuana within 1500 feet of a church. Bond set at $10,000
Edith Welch, one count of sale of methamphetamine. Bond set at $5,000
Franklin Allen, three counts of sale of powder cocaine. Bond set at $15,000
Tony McKinnis, three counts sale of crack cocaine. Bond set at $15,000
Kendrick Dubose, one sale crack cocaine; one count sale of marijuana. Bond has not been set yet.
