No. 19 Jones College hit a season-high 14 threes, five of them from Jay Tyler (Glen Allan), to roll to a 111-95 road win over Northwest Thursday night at Howard Coliseum.
The Bobcats moved to 19-7, 8-2 MACCC with the win and dropped NWCC to 13-9, 2-5 in conference play.
Jones held one of the league's top-scoring teams to 7-of-41 from beyond the arc.
Tyler was one of three Bobcats who scored 20-plus points with 23, Braylon Barnes (Brandon) added 20, Dylan Rowe (Madison Central) 20, Keron Jackson (Memphis) 17 and Wesley Lindsey (Central Hinds Academy) had a double-double with 16 and 10.
