NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR SEALED BIDS
The City of Quitman will accept sealed bids until 9:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 18, 2026, in the board room at City Hall at 105 E. Church Street, Quitman, Mississippi, 39355, at which time the sealed bids will be opened.
Bids must be submitted in the office of the City Clerk at the above address in a sealed envelope clearly marked as “Bid for Real Property PPIN# 4999”. Bids shall be a Lump Sum amount for whole property.
The real property is described as follows, to-wit:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of the W ½ of NE ¼ of SW ¼ of Section 22, Township 3 North, Range 15 East, and running thence West 1201.56 feet, thence North 0º 47’ West 1304.30 feet to the North boundary line of the W ½ of NW ¼ of SW ¼, thence East 799.39 feet, thence South 630.00 feet, thence East 420.00 feet, to the East boundary line of the W ½ of NE ¼ of SW ¼, thence South 674.18 feet to the point of beginning, containing 30.2 acres, more or less, in the W ½ of NE ¼ of SW ¼ and E ½ of NW ¼ of SW ¼ of said Section 22, Township 3 North, Range 15 East, Clarke County, Mississippi.
All mineral rights shall be reserved along with the right of ingress and egress to remove same.
The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
