Emma Mae Burt Williams, 87, of Quitman, Mississippi, passed away on December 10, 2021, in D'Iberville, MS. She was born on May 9, 1934, to Walter and Myra (Phillips) Pugh in Clarke County, MS.
Emma Mae is survived by her son, Roy Dennis Burt; three daughters, Patricia Ann Stevison, Carolyn (Bragston) Miley, and Gwen Lewis; step-daughter, Teresa Williams; sister, Charlotte Reed; grandchildren, Stephanie, Amber, Tanya, LeeAnn, Wade, Daniel, and Shannon; great-grandchildren, Destiny, Christine, Christian, Lannon, Lakelynn, Brett, Eli, Jackson, and Adalyn; great-great-grandchildren, Jenson, Zach, Brantley, and Noah; and numerous cousins and extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Pugh; mother Myra Pugh; husband, Leroy Burt; and son, Bobby Ray Burt.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 15, 2021, 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2:00 p.m. at the Wright's Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Glen Lafferty officiating. Burial will take place in the DeSoto Cemetery.
