Ernestine Ulmer, 94, of Pachuta, Mississippi, passed away, Thursday December 16, 2021, at Anderson Hospital in Meridian, Mississippi. She was born Wednesday, November 16, 1927, in Jasper County, Mississippi.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 19, 2021, from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Bay Springs, Mississippi. Graveside Services were held Sunday, December 19, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Antioch Cemetery and the burial followed in Antioch Cemetery. Patty Robinson officiated. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Bay Springs was in charge of arrangements.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Robert Ulmer; parents, James Ernest and Lillie Ann Pittman; grandson, Robert Wayne Ulmer; brothers, James Hilton Pittman and Wilton Pittman; sons-in-law, Kent Hidalgo and Wayne Lewis; nephew, Charles Pittman.
Survivors include her daughters, Susan Lewis and Karen Hidalgo (Mike Thomas); niece, Cheryl Pender; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Randy Kidd, Mark Kidd, Donnie Cooley, Josh Cooley, Gary Rockol, and Jimmy Keenan.
Honorary pallbearers were Mike Thomas and Don Cooley.
