Frankie Carolyn Davis, 82, originally of Quitman, Mississippi, passed away on Monday, October 17, 2022, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, Tennessee. She was born on February 11, 1940 to Leo and Lucille (Harris) Slay in Quitman, MS.
Frankie is survived by her loving children, her son, Blake Davis; and daughters, Michelle Davis and Melanie (Greg) Goodwin.
Frankie will be remembered as a wonderful cook and an avid reader of her favorite thriller novels.
She was preceded in death by her father, Leo Slay; mother, Lucille Harris Slay; and her husband, Benny Hiram Davis.
Visitation will be held Monday, October 24, 2022, 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at Pine Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Ervin Mooney officiating.
Burial will take place following the service in the Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
