Lavalle William White, 85, of Shubuta, Mississippi, passed away on January 3, 2022, at Specialty Hospital in Meridian, MS. He was born on September 14, 1936, to Raymond and Alice (Ollhoft) White in Meridian, MS.
He was a graduate and a loyal alumni of Mississippi State University, where he played football as he was furthering his education. He was principal and educator for Enterprise School District for over 20 years.
Lavalle is survived by his daughter, Kris W. Lockard; son, Richard L. (Kim) White; sister, Marcelline Dawson; four grandchildren, Andy (Emma) Lockard, Kirby Lockard, Taylor (Phillip) Diveley, and Presley White; and two sisters-in-law, Bubbles White and Martha Boller.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Cline White; mother, Alice White; wife, Mary Westbrook White; and several brothers and sisters.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
