Mary Edna Gilbert Grayson, 81, of Quitman, Mississippi, passed away on December 1, 2021, at her residence. She was born on July 8, 1940, to G. A. D. and Edna Gilbert in Quitman, MS.
Mary is survived by her sisters, Barbara Ann (Jr) Cox and Dorothy Allen; along with several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews; three special friends, Mary Ann Philon, Vera May Hollingshead and Betty Means.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff Grayson; parents, Gillon Andrew Demps, and Edna Julia Gilbert; brother, Billy Gilbert; sister, Doris "Beth" Turner; nephews, Ricky Gilbert, Roy Turner, and Anthony "BoBo" Abston.
Visitation was held Tuesday, December 7, 2021, 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, 12:00 p.m. at the Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Johnathon Johnson officiating. Burial took place in the Stroud Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Ronny Price, Douglas Haskins, Tyler Gilbert, Jerry Rogers, Mike Cox, Justin Rogers, Joshua Sumerall and Robert Gilbert.
