Mr. Paul Scrimpshire, 65, of Quitman, MS, passed from this life Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at his residence. He was born in Shubuta, MS, on Monday, March 19, 1956, to Edward Newton Schrimpshire and Estelle Edwina (Ivy) Schrimpshire. He had worked as an operator in the oilfield.
Mr. Paul is preceded in death by his father, Edward Newton Schrimpshire; mother, Estelle Edwina Schrimpshire Neal; daughter, Alesha Jean Taylor; two brothers, Richard Schrimpshire, Toby Schrimpshire; two sisters, Brenda Ford, Linda Burnett; grandson, Kemper Wallace Haney.
He is survived by his two sons, Chris P. Schrimpshire (Tina) and Chase Taylor (Shannon); two daughters, Wendy Turner (Anthony), Ashley Haney (Odell); stepdaughter, Kimberly Taylor; brother, Michael Schrimpshire; two sisters, Sara Beckman (Tim), Angie Nichols; 13 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services for Mr. Paul will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 23, 2022, at Corinth Assembly of God Cemetery, 5985 CR 511 S, Quitman, MS.
