William Elburn "Billy" Rolison, 74, of Shubuta, Mississippi, passed away on August 23, 2022, in Meridian, MS. He was born on August 4, 1948, to Herman and Maxine (Miller) Rolison in Quitman, MS.
Billy was a longtime member and deacon at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.
Billy is survived by his wife, Dorothy D. Rolison; three grandsons, Jason (Felisha) Renner, Drew (Kelly) Renner, and Brandon Dikes; two nieces, Emily (Darby) Albritton and Kristen (Michael) Oates; and numerous great grandchildren and extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his father, Herman Elburn Rolison; mother, Maxine Rolison; brother, Ronnie Dale Rolison; daughter, Darlene Dikes Renner; son, Brian Doyle Dikes, Sr.; and grandson, Brian Doyle "B.J." Dikes, Jr.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 25, 2022, after 9:30 a.m. at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 25, 11:00 a.m. at the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Ramsey, Rev. Jessie Griffith, and Rev. Joe Littlepage officiating. Burial will take place in the Stroud Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Rusty Rolison, Billy Joe Baker, Michael Oates, Darby Albritton, Jason Renner and Drew Renner.
