Alex Kenneth "Kenny" Underwood, 80, of Quitman, passed away on November 29, 2016 at North Pointe Health & Rehab.
He was born on May 28, 1936 to Alexander and Claudia (Collins) Underwood in Clarke County, MS.
Kenny is survived by his wife, Ramona Underwood; son, Tony (Frances) Underwood; daughter, Stephanie (Jeffrey) Glass; daughter-in-law, Lesia Underwood; sisters, Voncille Mixon and Lucille Goldman; grandchildren, Summer (Dustin) Turner, Jenni (Kris) Randall, Lance (Cloie) Underwood, Joey Glass, Courtney McPhearson, Alex Underwood, Dexter (Jacklyn) Underwood, and Quentin Underwood and 9 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Robin Underwood; parents, Alexander and Claudia Underwood; and sister, Virgie Doggett.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 2, 2016, 9:00 am - 11:00 am at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 2, 2016, 11:00 am at the Wright's Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Wesley Pepper officiating.
Burial will take place in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Lance Underwood, Dexter Underwood, Quentin Underwood, Brently Turner, Kris Randall and Lamar Fagan.
