Andy David Mathis, 58, of Quitman, Mississippi, passed away on July 2, 2023, at Anderson Regional Medical Center.
He was born on November 22, 1964, to George and Clara (Lee) Mathis in Quitman, MS.
Andy is survived by his wife, Kelly Mathis; mother, Clara Lee Mathis; uncle, Donnie (Vicki) Mathis; aunts, Sylvia Mathis and Donna Mathis; and cousins, Mark (Margaret Ann) Mathis, Alan (Lisa) Mathis, Ryan Mathis, Lauren Mathis, Keri Mathis, Brooke (Brad) Gipson, Blake Mathis, and Angela Sisson.
He was preceded in death by his father, George Mathis; and uncles, Steve Mathis and Larry Mathis.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, 10:00 a.m. at the Shady Grove Church of God Cemetery with Rev. Joe Gullick and Rev. Darron Chapman officiating.
Pallbearers are Berry Ray Smith, Steve Glass, Steven Williams, R. W. Williams, Curtis Lewis, Jeff Peden, Mark Moore, Shane Fuller and Mike Williams. Honorary Pallbearers are Kenneth Godwin and John Campbell.
Burial will take place in the Shady Grove Church of God Cemetery.
