Anita Kay Livingston, 68, of Quitman, Mississippi, passed away on August 19, 2023, at her residence.
She was born on February 10, 1955, to Stafford Manning and Willie Mae Thomas in Clarke County, MS.
Anita enjoyed listening to her music and surfing the web on her computer. She enjoyed traveling, going to yard sales and caring for her animals. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and a friend to all that met her. Anita also had a love for talking to and fixing hair of all of her customers over the years.
Anita is survived by her husband, James "Larry" Livingston; three daughters, Sherrie (Matt) Hostetler, Heather (Keith) Jamieson, and DeAnn (Chris) Thomas; nine grandchildren, Justin (Emory) Chatham, Kacie McIlwain, Jacob Hostetler, Cody (Emily) Bean, Haden Bean, Paige Thomas, Jase Thomas, Keaton Jamieson, and Lily Jamieson; four great-grandchildren, Cade Chatham, Easton Chatham, Landrie Bean, and Briggs Bean; brother, Carl "Bo" Smith; and three sisters, Gwen Jenkins, Beth Helmkee, and Lesa Harper.
She was preceded in death by her father, Stafford Ray Manning; mother, Willie Mae Smith; step-mother, Willie Merle Manning; and her brother, Mike Manning.
Pallbearers are Justin Chatham, Jacob Hostetler, Cody Bean, Haden Bean, Jase Thomas, and Keaton Jamieson.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 22, 2023, 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, 11:00 am at the Wright's Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Dennis Coats, Rev. Ed Shoemaker, officiating.
Burial will take place in the Archusa Memorial Gardens.
