Funeral services for Benjamin Franklin Holloman, Jr., age 56, of Quitman, MS, were held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at Phillips Funeral Home in Gilbertown, AL, with Reverend Gary Davis officiating. There was a visitation held for one hour prior to the service. Interment followed at Quinelly Cemetery in Quitman, MS.
Mr. Holloman was born October 23, 1966, in Meridian, MS, to Benjamin Franklin Holloman, Sr. and Patsy Ann Holloman. He passed away Sunday, July 2, 2023, at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian, MS. Ben’s number one priority in his life was his family. All the children in his life knew him as “Paw Paw.” He also enjoyed carpentry and experiencing life on the road as a truck driver.
He is survived by his mother, Patsy Ann Underwood Holloman of Quitman, MS; wife, Tracy Holloman of Carmichael, MS; son, Ben Holloman III (Kelly) of Stonewall, MS; daughter, Christina Holloman of Gulfport, MS; step children, Justin Carroll and Candy Graham, both of Quitman, MS; brothers, Ronnie Holloman (Connie) and Chris Holloman (LeAnn), both of Quitman, MS; sisters, Robin Mire (Randy) of Seabrook, TX, Rhonda Thomas of Quitman, MS, Suzzan Cheeks (Michael) of Waynesboro, MS, and Angel Cotton (Randy) of Mobile, AL; grandchildren, Madison Franklin, Jasmine Smith, Blaine Holloman, Kendall Campbell, Ross Campbell, and Benton Holloman; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Benjamin Franklin Holloman, Sr.; first wife, Beverly Dedwylder Holloman; daughter, Jessica Campbell; granddaughter, Ky’Leigh Campbell; and brother, John Holloman.
Serving as pallbearers were Anthony Johnson, Keith Holloman, Macon Holloman, Randy Mire, Rusty Peavy, Jacob Cheeks, Colton Holloman, and Colby Holloman.
