Bobby Eugene Peavy, 87, of Quitman, Mississippi, passed away on October 25, 2023, at his residence.
He was born on September 25, 1936, to Joseph and Annie (Jones) Peavy in Newton County, MS.
Bobby is survived by his wife of 66 years, Juanita Peavy; daughter, Penny A. Peavy; grandson, Brad (Jennifer) Smith; granddaughter, Brittany (Nathan) Fauk; five great-grandchildren, Haley Fauk, Sarah Smith, Casey-Jo Fauk, Jackson Fauk, and Thomas Teevan; two sisters, Joann Branning and Sue (Benny) Sibley; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Peavy; mother, Annie Peavy; and two sisters, Annie Lee Morrison and Evelyn Tolbert.
Visitation will be held Sunday, October 29, 2023, 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 29, 2023, 2:00 p.m. at the Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dennis Coats officiating.
Burial will take place in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Sibley, Scott Sibley, Mark Sharp, Gary Seales, Tony Adams and Paul Edwards.
