Camelia Ann Young, 72, of Stonewall, Mississippi, passed away on November 20, 2020, at her residence.
She was born on August 5, 1948, to Robert and Myrtle (Lambert) Simpson in Pike County, MS.
Camelia is survived by her husband, Gerald Young; son, Morris (Pam) Herrington, Jr.; daughter, Angela Dawn (Sam) Smith; brothers, Robert Simpson, Jr., Terry Simpson, and Ricky Simpson; sister, Lena Jacob; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Myrtle Simpson; son, Morris Gregory Herrington; sisters, Claudie Robinson and Shelia Diane Simpson; and grandson, Marcus Herrington.
Visitation was held Monday, November 23, 2020, after 8:30 a.m. at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Graveside services were held on Monday, November 23, 2020, 10:00 a.m. at the Stonewall Cemetery with Rev. Troy Dew officiating.
Burial took place in the Stonewall Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Justin Smith, Blake Gunn, Nathan Herrington, Brad Fountain, Romy Jacobs, and Jody Simpson.
