Charles Bradford Brashier, Jr., 93, of Quitman, passed away on July 18, 2016 at his residence.
He was born on June 7, 1923 to Charles and Mattie (Rogers) Brashier in DeSoto, MS.
Mr. Brashier was a veteran of WWII who served in the Army-Air Corps. He was a deacon and member of First Baptist Church, Quitman.
Charles is survived by his wife, Eloise Fleming Brashier; son, Charles Bradford Brashier, III; daughters, Madelon Brashier (Bill) Stewart and Sandra Brashier Breland; grandchildren, Jennifer (Scott) Kornegay, Brad (Sarah) Brashier, Will (Frances) Stewart, Carrie (Radim) Kizek, Andy Brashier, and Josh (Ashley) Webb; and 12 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth Brashier; and his parents, Charles Bradford Brashier, Sr. and Mattie Kathryn Brashier.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 20, 2016, 10:00 am - 11:00 am at First Baptist Church, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2016, 11:00 am at the First Baptist Church (Quitman), with Dr. Gene Neal and Rev. Paul Brashier officiating.
Burial will take place in the Salem Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Josh Webb, Will Stewart, Brad Brashier, Andy Brashier, Radim Kizek, Scott Kornegary, Tony Fleming, Larry Fleming, and Bennie Fleming.
