Clarence Wood Jr., 86, of Quitman, passed away on December 2, 2016 at Poplar Springs Nursing Home.
He was born on May 2, 1930 to Clarence and Esther (Dew) Wood in Clarke County, MS. Mr. Wood is retired from the U. S. Air Force.
Clarence is survived by his sons, Daniel Wood, Michael Wood, and Timmy Wood; daughter, Cathy Gail Wood; 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 7, 2016, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2016, 1:00 pm at the Wright's Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Steve Tyler officiating. Burial will take place in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
