Connie G. Sutton, 97, of Quitman, Mississippi, passed away on August 29, 2020, at H. C. Watkins Memorial Hospital.
She was born on November 5, 1922, to Lambertus and Jenny (VanEaten) Bruggeman in South Holland, IL.
Connie is survived by her two sons, John Robert (Anna) Sutton and Kenneth James (Gay) Sutton; five daughters, Judy McDonnell, Connie (Richard) Golden, Nancy (Johnny) Queen, Linda (Donald) Queen, and Terri Giles; brother, Clarence Bruggeman; 28 grandchildren, 59 great grandchildren and 41 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Sutton; parents, Lambertus and Jenny Bruggeman; daughter, Bonnie Queen; granddaughter, Shellie Queen; grandson, Paul Queen and great-grandson, Christopher Sutton.
Visitation will be held Thursday, September 3, 2020, 10:00 a.m. at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 3, 2020, 11:00 a.m. at the Wright's Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Glen Lafferty officiating.
Burial will take place in the Bucatunna Baptist Church Cemetery.
Her grandsons and great grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
