Curtis Wayne Doggett, 77, of Quitman, passed away on May 23, 2016 at Anderson Hospital.
He was born on January 12, 1939 to Curtis and Virgie (Underwood) Doggett in Quitman, MS.
Wayne is survived by his son, Ellis Ray Doggett,daughter, Dena Doggett Rowell and his son-in-law, Billy; Step Sons Michael Fox and his wife, Heather, and Dewayne Fox; ; brothers, Randall Doggett and Gary Doggett; sister, Carolyn Wade; Grandchildren, Erica Green and her husband, Justin, Erin Thompson and her husband, Mason, Dakota Doggett, Barbara McLauchlin and her husband, Chris, Abby Grace Fox and Madden Fox; Great Grandchildren, Macie Thompson, Logan Rayner, Addy Kennedy, Millie Rowell, Kinsley Holloman, Zander Green, Avery McLauchlin, Rance McLaughlin, Rider McLauchlin and Brayden Doggett; and mother of his children, Barbara King.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Doggett; son, Douglas Dewayne Doggett and parents, Curtis and Virgie Doggett.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 25, 2016, 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2016, 11:00 am at the Cooper's Chapel Methodist Church with Rev. Mike Hollingsworth and Rev. Wesley Pepper officiating. Burial will follow in the Cooper's Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mason Thompson, Justin Green, Shug Cranford, Keith Patrick, Todd Kemp and Kenny Wade.
