Funeral Services for Mr. David C. Brown will be held Saturday, September 30, 2023, at 12:30 p.m. at Bethany Church of Quitman, MS, with Pastor Glenn Lafferty officiating. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Church of God Cemetery. Robert Barham Family Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
Mr. David C. Brown, age 84, of Quitman, MS, passed away Thursday, September 21, 2023, at Anderson Regional Medical Center.
David loved his Lord and Savior and his family.
He is survived by his wife of 63 ½ years Loretta Brown; his children David Alan Brown (Shellye), Paul Brown (Janet), Angela Waltman (BJ); his grandchildren, Sara Smith (Chad), Jessica Stagner (James), Billy Waltman, Stephen Waltman (Raylee), Katherine Brown; and five great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Gladys Brown and his twelve siblings.
The family request memorials be made to St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital or The Center for Pregnancy Choices of Meridian, MS.
Pallbearers will his grandsons: Billy Waltman, Stephen Waltman, Chad Smith, Evan Smith, James Stagner, and his nephew Troy Fisher.
