Donald Ray Moore, 78, of Rose Hill, Mississippi, passed away on September 29, 2023, at H. C. Watkins Hospital in Quitman, MS.
He was born on January 31, 1945, to Otis and Ruby (Moulds) Moore in Clarke County, MS.
Donald was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Rose Hill, MS. He also served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.
Donald is survived by his wife, Donna J Moore; sons, Raymond (June) Moore and Charlie Ray Moore; daughter, Machelle Moore; nine grandchildren, Caeden Moore, Madison Moore, Brian Corbitt, Blake Corbitt, Zack Corbitt, Bayleigh Cook, Zeb Moore, Gabe Owens, and Hailey Moorhouse; Brother, Ben (Katie) Moore; and sister, Ann (J. W.) Reynolds.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Otis Donald and Ruby Estelle Moore.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2023,1:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Rose Hill, MS, with Charlie Ray Moore officiating.
Burial will take place in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
