Attorney Earl P. (Pat) Jordan, Jr. was born in Meridian, MS, on January 4, 1947, to Earl P. (Bill) and Lucille Hudson Jordan. He passed away on November 1, 2023.
He was a graduate of Meridian High School, Mississippi State University, and Ole Miss School of Law. Pat began the practice of law in his hometown. During his 51 years of practice, Pat worked closely with noted local attorneys Daniel P. Self, Robbie D. Jones, and Christopher M. Falgout. During his years of membership with the Lauderdale County Bar Association, he served as President and Vice President, and was elected to the State Bar Commission for five years representing the Twelfth Chancery Court District. Pat served his country during the Vietnam years as a member of the Army Reserves in the 3rd and 83rd Battalion Artillery Unit.
Pat was an avid golfer and a devoted NASCAR fan. Some of his best times were spent with his many friends on hunting, fishing, and golf trips. In his later years, Pat loved weekends and holidays spent with family.
Pat was predeceased by his parents and an infant sister.
Pat is survived by his devoted and loving wife, Beth; daughter, Amber Page and husband, Frank Eddins, Jr. of Gulfport, MS; son, Jamey Patrick Jordan of Groveland, FL; granddaughter, Jordan Addison (Addie) Eddins, of Oxford, MS; the mother of his children, CoRinne Jordan; bonus children, Alicia McGee and husband Darren, Amie Baxley and husband Ben, Anna Kuntz (Roland Joyner); Abe Doggett, Allyn Swain and husband Matthew; and thirteen bonus grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held at Rolling Creek Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2023, with Bro. Richard Coats officiating.
Interment took place at Manassa Cemetery in Quitman, MS.
Pall Bearers were Dalton Baxley, Collin McGee, Lane Doggett, Ethan Baxley, Kameron Ware, and Clay Bowman.
