Edwin Kenneth Presson, 80, of Meridian, passed away on January 18, 2017 at Lakeside Living Center.
He was born on August 13, 1936 to Ewart and Mary (Mobley) Presson in Jackson, MS.
Edwin is survived by his wife, Linda Presson; son, Richard K. (Lynn) Presson; daughters, Ruth Presson (Merrick) Allen and Robin Faith (Jerry Wayne) Wallace; brother, Charles Arnold Presson; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Rena Elizabeth Allen and parents, Ewart Knox and Elizabeth Presson.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 20, 2017, 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 20, 2017, 2:00 pm at the Wright's Funeral Home Chapel, with Mike Boles and Rev. Ron Boles officiating. Burial will take place in the Graham Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Merrick Allen, Jerry Wayne Wallace, Andrew Presson, Joshua Allen, Luke Wallace, Sawyer Allen, Nicholas Allen, and Ethan Gunter.
