Ella Mae Long, 85, of Quitman, passed away on January 27, 2017 at Rush Hospital. She was born on January 14, 1932 to Vivan and Lillian (Brock) Neal in Clarke County, MS.
Ella is survived by sons, Dennis (Stephanie) Long and George Long; daughters, Mary Ann (Everett) Coleman, Sharon (Atlee) Smith, Kitty (Howard) Scarbrough,and Audra May; brother, Johnnie Neal; sisters, Geneva Dearman, Wilma Warning, and Cynthia Hinson; 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Codi Long; son, William Thomas Long; parents, Vivan and Lillian Neal and sister, Sarah Shirley.
Visitation will be held Sunday, January 29, 2017, 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 30, 2017, 10:00 am at the Wright's Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Pike Smith and Rev. William Chancellor officiating. Burial will take place in the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jason Coleman, Johnathan Foxworth, Shelby Smith, Bryant Smith, Patrick Tucker, and Calvin Haney, Jr.
