Surrounded by family, Estelle Cooper, 91, went home to be with her Lord, on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at her residence in Quitman, MS.
She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who prayed for her family daily.
Ms. Cooper is survived by her daughters, Addie McMillan and husband, Allen, of Meridian; Earline Robinson and her husband, Roger, of Meridian and Edna Tharp and husband, Tom, of Brandon; son, John Edward Cooper and wife, Debbie, of Quitman; 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Cooper; parents, William "Bill" Dew and Gertie Mae Dew; 4 Brothers; 3 Sisters; and a special friend, Billy McGee.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 7, 2016, 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2016, 10:00 am at the East Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, with Rev. Leon Parnell, Rev. Josh Meadows, and Rev. Wesley Pepper officiating. Burial will take place in the East Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Mark McMillan, Tommy Jackson, Eddie Cooper, and Derek Robinson and great-grandsons, Justin McMillan, Jonathan McMillan, Philip Scott and Tres Jackson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bob Morris and Steve Holloman.
