Ethel Majorie Taylor, 84, of Quitman, Mississippi passed away on December 6, 2020, at her residence.
She was born on April 7, 1936, to James and Rose (Russell) Volkening in Meridian, MS.
Majorie is survived by her two daughters, Evelyn Hopkins, and Kay (Jerry) Wilder; son, Keith (Susie) Taylor; five grandchildren, Penny (Bodie) Dickerson, Alex "Bubba" (Emily) Taylor, III, Brandi (Jon) Falcon, A. Nicolas Hopkins, and Andrea N Gosnell; and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Rose Majorie Volkening; husband, A. F. "Tip" Taylor, Sr.; son, A. F. "Sandy" Taylor, II; granddaughter, Tiffany Mixon; great-granddaughter, Hope Rose Gosnell; and son-in-law, W. Dale Hopkins.
A private Memorial service was held.
Burial will take place in the King Cemetery.
