Evelyn Elizabeth Lovett Dearman, 92, of Quitman, passed away on October 21, 2016 at Rush Hospital.
She was born on September 8, 1924 to Clarence and Lillie (Young) Lovett in Stonewall, MS.
Evelyn is survived by her sons, J. C. (Jewel E.) Dearman, Jr., Kenneth Leroy (Linda E.) Dearman, and Daniel Lamar Dearman; brothers, Carey (Jennifer) Riley, Calvin (Wilma) Riley, Wayne (Norma) Riley, and Jackie Riley; 4 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Claiborne Dearman; grandson, Jesse Jones; parents, Clarence and Lillie Mae Lovett; brothers, Lem David Riley, Junior Lovett, Lamar Lovett, and Paul Lovett; and sister, Allison Lovett.
Visitation will be held Sunday, October 23, 2016, 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Cooper's Chapel Methodist Church, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 24, 2016, 11:00 am at the Cooper's Chapel Methodist Church, with Rev. Wesley Pepper officiating. The body will be at the church Monday at 10:00 a.m. for visitation. Burial will take place in the Cooper's Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Johnson, Stanley Holloman, Michael Smith, Jerry Dearman, Wendell Buffington, and Michael Oates. Honorary Pallbearers will be John Edward Cooper, Keith Kelly, Curl McCarra, Kevin McCarra, and Jerry Wayne Dickerson.
