Evelyn Redmond, 96, of Stonewall, passed away on September 3, 2016 at her residence.
She was born on February 18, 1920 to Grady and Phronie Patrick in Clarke County, MS.
She was a longtime business owner of Redmond Grocery in Stonewall, MS and a member of First Baptist Church, Stonewall, MS.
Evelyn is survived by, 2 Sons, Larry Redmond and Johnny Redmond, 2 Daughters, Kathy Kemp and Judy Evans, 8 Grandchildren, Amy Chisholm, Brooks Simpson, Dana Bary, Paula Morgan, Angie Boland, Danielle Simpson, Barry Howard, and Megan Purser, 8 Great-Grandchildren, Devan Howell, Ayden Ogle, Lake Morgan, Jackson Morgan, Jett Morgan, AnnSadie Simpson, Redmond Boland, and Norah Purser.
Pallbearers will be Todd Kemp, Bo Evans, Brooks Simpson, Barry Howard, Chris Morgan, and Jason Armstrong.
Honorary Pallbearers are Carl Robinson, Paul Woodall, Barry White, Ricky Harper, Gene Simpson, Sherry Tucker, Mary McLendon, Tim Elkins, and Todd Boland
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Lavon Redmond, and her Brother, Leo L. "Coot" Patrick.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 6, 2016, 10:00 am - 11:00 am at First Baptist Church, Stonewall, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2016, 11:00 am at the First Baptist Church, Stonewall, MS with Rev. Nick Ulmer, Rev. Dennis Kennedy, and Rev. Joe Gullick, officiating.
Burial will take place in the Stonewall Cemetery.
