Francis Mary (Kidd) Smith, 78, of Meridian, MS, passed away on March 28, 2016, at her residence. She was born on June 11, 1937, to Ted and Opal (Hill) Robinson in Clarke County, MS. Francis was retired from Anderson's Hospital. She was a loving wife, mother and sister.
Francis is survived by her husband, Earl Kidd, Sr.; son, Dell Smith; brother, Ted Robinson, Jr.; sisters, Lula Marie Bowers, JoAnn Gay, and Earline Clemets; two grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Betty Smith Moffett; son, Larry Wayne Smith; parents, Ted and Opal Robinson; sisters, Lucille Smith, Alline Dimmette, and Margaret Robinson; and brothers, Don Robinson and Buddy Robinson.
Visitation was held Saturday, April 2, 2016, 10:00-11:00 am at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, MS.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 2 at 11:00 am at the Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Owen officiating.
Burial took place in the Bethel Cemetery.
