Garret Donald Rowell, 45, of Heidelberg, Mississippi, passed away on October 19, 2023.
Garret was born on September 29, 1978, in Laurel, Mississippi.
Garret “Caveman” lived his life to the words of “hunting, fishing, and loving everyday.” He loved to be on the go, whether it be going out of town or “making a loop.” He also looked forward to deer hunting season, MSU sports, and cooking great food. He liked to joke around and make others laugh. Garret had an impeccable work ethic. He started his career in the Oilfield and ended at Puckett Machinery.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Betty Jean Rowell and Bill Rowell; his maternal grandfather, Mallard Pugh; and several uncles.
He is survived by his father, Gary Don Rowell (Sue) of Vossburg; son and number one, Dawson Rowell of Heidelberg; fiancé and "best frand,” Sarah Greene of Heidelberg; sister, Kayla Stewart (Chris) of Eucutta; niece and nephew, Marleigh and Cullen Stewart; maternal grandmother, Norman Herrington; and mother, Nina Graham (Daniel) of Ovett.
Graveside services for Garret will be held on date October 23, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., at Goodwater Cemetery with Rev. Ervin Mooney officiating.
Pallbearers will be Jason Pippin, Greg Harvey, Chris Stewart, Eddy Parker, Randy Harper, and James "Biscuit" Elfring.
