George Edward Covington , 79, of Meridian, MS, passed away on November 25, 2016, at Inpatient.
He was born on October 11, 1937, to Thomas and Laura (Ward) Covington in Quitman, MS.
George is survived by his brother, William Roper Covington; and sister, Dorothy Coulter.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Benard Covington; mother, Laura Caroline Covington; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Monday, November 28, 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Quitman. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 28, 11:00 am at the Odd Fellows Cemetery with Rev Keith Yelverton officiating. Burial will take place in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
