George Wilson McWilliams, 80, of Quitman, passed away on January 16, 2017 at Lakeside Living Center. He was born on December 5, 1936 to Moodie and Lois (Burt) McWilliams in Stringer, MS.
George is survived by his daughters, Catherine (David) Squyres and Rebecca Bell; brothers, Harold McWilliams and Len McWilliams; sister, Genese Tolbert; grandchildren, David Ray Squyres, Jr., Landon Wayne Squyres, Anthony Mark Squyres, Christopher David Bell, and Tiffany LeShay Bell; 9 great grandchildren and nephew, Bruce Allen.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Moodie and Lois McWilliams; brother, John Paul McWilliams; sister, Mary Allen and nephew, Walter Dale Allen.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2017, 2:00 pm at the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
