A memorial service for Gina Lee Whitaker Griffin, 47, of Stonewall, MS was held Mon., March 14, 2016, at 3:30 P.M. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Quitman with Bro. Bo Bankston officiating. Burial followed in the Kings Cemetery in Elwood, MS.
Mrs. Griffin passed away Wed., March 9, 2016, at her residence.
Survivors include Joe Joiner of Stonewall, MS; children John “Butterbean” Griffin of Quitman, MS and Amber Easley (Brent) of Quitman, MS; father of her children Willie C. Griffin; step children Josh Joiner (Shannon) of Meridian, MS and Lander Joiner of Meridian, MS; mother Peggy Whitaker of Quitman, MS; brother Jimmy Whitaker, Jr. (Erica) of Magnolia, TX; step brother Anthony Underwood (Danielle) of Jackson, MS; and grandchildren Jacob, Christopher, Riley, Lexi, and Owen.
She was preceded in death by her father Jimmy Whitaker, Sr., and grandchild Hayden.
