Gloria Bradley Hamrick

Gloria Bradley Hamrick, 93, of Stonewall, Mississippi, passed away on September 18, 2019, at her residence. 

She was born on May 21, 1926, to Andrew and Martha Bradley in Stonewall, MS.

Gloria was Valedictorian of her graduating class at Enterprise High School.  She was a lifelong member and organist at Stonewall United Methodist Church.  She taught Sunday School and was a youth leader.  She was a member of Chickasawhay Rambler's Camping Club, Meridian Area Coin Club, Antique Car Club and Daisey Chain Square Dance Club.  She enjoyed reading and working crossword puzzles.

Gloria is survived by her sons, Terry J. (Sandra) Hamrick, Jimmy C. (Donna) Hamrick and Tommy R. (Martha) Hamrick; seven grandchildren, Ricky (Tina) Hamrick, Jay (Kristi) Hamrick, Jonathan Hamrick, Chris Hamrick, Jennifer Hamrick, Dustin (Anna Laurie) Hamrick and Hayden Hamrick; eight great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, W.R. "Jack" Hamrick; parents, Andrew and Martha Bradley; brother, A.J. Bradley and three sisters, Nora Meyer, Nola Frey and Flora Simpson.

Visitation was held Friday, September 20, 2019, 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, September 21, 2019, 11:00 a.m. at the Stonewall Methodist Church with Rev. James Hall and Rev. Ed Shoemaker officiating. Burial took place in the Stonewall Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Jay Hamrick, Jonathan Hamrick, Ricky Hamrick, Chris Hamrick, Dustin Hamrick, Hayden Hamrick and Jennifer Hamrick.  Honorary Pallbearers were Ricky Harper, Jimmy Smith, John R. Davis and Bobby Joe Moulds.
