Hal Eugene Simpson, 66, of Enterprise, passed away on October 12, 2016 at Passages Hospice in New Orleans, Louisiana.
He was born on December 16, 1949 to Hal and Eloise (Cowan) Simpson in Mobile, AL.
Gene is survived by his wife, Alene Simpson; son, Brooks (Fairla) Simpson; daughters, Danielle (Fiance', Jason) Simpson and Sandra (Robby) Kidd; brothers, Jerry (Susan) Simpson and Terry (Renita) Simpson; sisters, Ouida (Ed) Ivey, Frankie (Bill) Felter, Virginia Lafferty, Betty (Johnny) Farrar, and Linda (Leroy) Dearman; grandchildren, Jeremy Kidd, Tyler Pittman, Jordan Kidd, Grace Pittman, Kayden Pittman, Payton Pittman, and Ann Sadie Simpson.
He was preceded in death by his son, Kevin Pittman; parents, Hal and Eloise Simpson; brother, Wesley Simpson and sister, Evelyn Courtney.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 14, 2016, 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at Fellowship Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 14, 2016, 12:00 pm at the Fellowship Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Ivey officiating.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Kidd, Jordan Kidd, Tyler Pittman, Robby Kidd, Troy Smith and Everett Harris.
