Hilda Joyce Privett Davidson, 69, of Stonewall, MS, passed away on October 13, 2016, at her residence.
She was born on January 23, 1947, to Rufus and Doris (Jackson) Privett in Stonewall, MS.
Joyce is survived by her son, George Daniel Davidson; daughters, Angela Joyce (Bobby) McNeill, Gloria Davidson Cole, and Dawn Davidson Covington; brother, Mike Privett; sisters, Brenda (Darrell) Winick and Kathy (Eddie) Myers; nine grandchildren, Heather McNeill (Ike) McKelvain, Seth McNeill, Reilly Cole, Regan Cole, Hannah Covington, Cayley Covington, Malerie Covington, Emily Covington, and Kailey Covington; four great grandchildren, Lindsey McKelvain, Ike McKelvain, IV, Kate McKelvain, and Landon McKelvain.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Doris Elizabeth Privett.
Visitation was held Sunday, October 16, 2016, 12:00 - 2:00 pm at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, MS.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, October 16, 2:00 pm at the Wright's Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Ronnie Boles, officiating. Burial took place in the Stonewall Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Josh Boles, Bobby McNeill, Mickey Watson, Bill Ivey, Roger Ivey, Wayne Yarbrough, and Jason Covington. Honorary Pallbearers were Jake Sisson, C.J. Jackson, Jackie Sisson, Jim Sisson, and Johnathan Sisson.
