J. W. Abston, 66, of Quitman, Mississippi, passed away on May 29, 2020, at Anderson Regional Medical Center.
He was born on April 2, 1954, to Jessie and Grace (Baker) Abston in Clarke County, MS.
J. W. is survived by two brothers, James Abston, and William Abston; five sisters, Frances Smith, Joann Elmore, Penny Simpson, Betty Busby, and Nettie Marie Turner; numerous loving nieces, nephews; and extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Grace Abston; wife, Carol Abston; and his sister, Ruby Turner.
Private family services were held on Monday, June 1, 2020, at the Hebron Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Charles Albrooks, officiating.
