James Douglas (Jimmy) Price Jr., 71, of Quitman, passed away on January 4, 2017 in Quitman, MS.
He was born on July 6, 1945 to James and Maybelle (Lockhart) Price in Little Rock, AR.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Barbara W. Price; daughter, Teresa Price (Kirk) Davis; daughter-in-law, Nora Price; sister, Sue Sexton; grandchildren, Anthony, Kason, Trent, Emilia, Gracie and Alexander and special niece, Emilee Mollett.
He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Price; parents, James D. Price, Sr. and Maybelle Price and brothers, Gerry and Tommy.
Visitation will be held Saturday, January 7, 2017, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 8, 2017, 2:00 pm at the Wright's Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Hiram Coker officiating. Burial will take place in the McGowan's Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tracy Mollett, Danny Hardee, Kirk Davis, Wayne Kennedy, Steven Boozer, and John Milam. Honorary Pallbearers will be Edward Green, Richie Boozer, James Smith, Ray Boney, Gary Nelson, and Anthony Price.
