James Edward "Willie" Williams, 71, of Quitman, passed away on December 27, 2016 at H. C. Watkins Hospital, Quitman, MS.
He was born on November 18, 1945 to Ralph and Olivia (Cranford) Williams in Clarke County, MS.
Willie is survived by his wife, Martha Williams; daughters, Katina Williams and Leigh (Charles) Donald; son, Keith (June) Williams; grandchildren, Leora Styron-Wilson, Emery Styron, C. J. Donald, Dakota Donald, Chad Williams, and Kami Williams; great-grandchildren, Daniel Polk, Makenzie Polk, and Levi Wilson; brothers, Jimmy Lee Williams, Bobby Ray Williams, and Johnny (Faye) Williams; sister-in-law, Karen Williams; and a host of nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Olivia Williams; sister, Sara J. Williamson and brother, Gerald (Curly) Williams.
Visitation will be held Thursday, December 29, 2016, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2016, 12:30 pm at the East Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Grady Crowell officiating.
Pallbearers will be Michael Williams, Steve Lewis, Bruce Bonner, Dudley Bonner, Frank Sellers, and Allen Elmore.
