Janet Elizabeth Davis, 56, of Quitman, Mississippi, passed away on December 13, 2020, at her residence.
She was born on April 8, 1964, to William and Jackie Sue (Ivy) Davis in Meridian, MS.
Janet is survived by her son, Griffin Davis Cheatham of Hattiesburg; parents, William and Jackie Sue Ivy Davis, both of Quitman; sisters, Robin Davis Johnson and April Davis (Jeff) Hunter; nieces, Karri Johnson (Todd) Moseley, Natali Johnson (Kyle) Valentine, Whitni Johnson (Lee) Pinkerton, and Mari Maegan Johnson; nephew, Cody Hunter; great niece and nephews, Dixie Pinkerton, Kole Morland and A.J. Valentine and special great niece & nephew, Christopher Moseley and Avery Valentine, who loved their 'anet!!!! She was also survived by her special friend, Tommy Norris.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Lawrence and Lois Ivey and paternal grandparents, H. R. and Bessie Davis.
Visitation were held Tuesday, December 15, 2020, 10:30 a.m. at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Quitman, Mississippi.
Graveside services were held on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, 11:00 a.m. at the Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jason Castle officiating.
Burial took place in the Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
