Jessie Raymond McCoy, 98, of Shubuta, passed away on May 7, 2016 at Wayne General Hospital.
He was born on August 10, 1917 to Joseph and Caroline (Whitaker) McCoy in Shubuta, MS.
Jessie is survived by his sons, Raymond Earl McCoy and Joe McCoy; daughter, Sue McCoy Kelly; brother, J. E. McCoy, Jr.; sisters, Katie Jones, Josephine Gatlin and Jessie Rae Staggs; 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren.
Graveside services were held on Tuesday, May 10, 2016, 11:00 am at the Hepzibah Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Mike Moss and Rev. Dennis Kennedy officiating.
