Jewel Inez Dearman, 71, of Meridian, passed away on November 22, 2016 at Specialty Hospital.
She was born on September 6, 1945 to Willie and Alma (Hoffer) Ford in Meridian, MS.
Jewel is survived by her son, Jeffrey Ray (Cindy) Dearman; daughter, Jennifer (Jerry) Ivey; brother, James Ray (Sheila) Ford; granddaughter, Lori Gunter; and great-grandchildren, Christina Harper and Jayden Gunter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Preston Dearman; grandson, Christopher Harper; and parents, Willie James Ford and Alma Ford.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 25, 2016, 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2016, 2:00 pm at the Energy Church, with Mike Boles and Rev. Ronnie Boles officiating. The body will be taken to the church one hour prior to the service for visitation. Burial will take place in the Energy Church Cemetery.
