Joseph Preston Hollis, 75, of Meridian, passed away on May 25, 2016 at Queen City Nursing Center.
He was born on June 12, 1940 to Joseph and Matred (Parish) Hollis in Lynette, AL.
Preston is survived by son, Joe (LeAnn) Hollis; daughters, Kim (Michael) Cato and Shanna Jo (Daniel) Starks; sisters, Robin (Lamar) Kennedy and Betsy (Bob) Frey; grandchildren, Colton (LeAnn) Hollis, Brit Cato, Sierra Cato, Mason Ivy, Jax Starks, and Jonah Starks; great-grandchildren, Cason Hollis and Macon Hollis.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Maggie Dale Hollis; grandson, Cody Hollis; parents, Jack and Matred Hollis.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 27, 2016, 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 27, 2016, 3:00 pm at the Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lou Hoffman officiating. Burial will take place in the Stonewall Cemetery.
