Justin Peyton Davidson, 20, of Quitman, Mississippi, passed away on October 28, 2023, in Oklahoma City, OK.
He was born on December 4, 2002, to Jason and Stephanie (Gavin) Davidson in Meridian, MS.
Peyton had a love for playing football, where he played during high school at Quitman High and continued at the collegiate level playing at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.
Peyton is survived by his father, Jason P. (Shannon) Davidson; mother, Stephanie A. Gavin; sisters, Dixie Davidson and EmmaLee Grace Davidson; brother, Brantley Davidson; step-brother, Taylor Stewart; step-Sister, Madison Stewart; paternal grandfather, Malcolm (Clarece) Davidson, Jr.; paternal grandmother, Violet (Ray) Lambert; maternal grandfather, Steve (Anita) Gavin; maternal grandmother, Ruth (Dewayne) Griffin; paternal great-grandmother, Mildred Ivy; maternal great-grandmother, Gloria Jefcoat; nephew, Elijah Keith Davidson; and several aunts, uncles, and extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his uncle, Justin Keith Davidson; paternal great-grandfather, Malcolm Laverne Davidson, Sr.; paternal great-grandmother, Mary Louise Davidson; and paternal great-grandfather, Robert Earl Ivy.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Fluker, Mason Turner, Tyler Hines, Dwyon Altman, Austin Chandler, Steven Beckman, Jacob Armstrong, and Xavier Coleman. Honorary pallbearers are the QHS football team.
Visitation will be held Saturday, November 4, 2023, 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Quitman High School Football Field, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023, 2:00 p.m. at the New Bethel Cemetery with Rev. Jim Hill officiating.
Burial will take place in the New Bethel Cemetery.
