Katie Lucille Sims Hollingsworth
Services for Katie Hollingsworth will be Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dennis Coats officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Carthage, Mississippi at 1:00 p.m.
Mrs. Hollingsworth, 92, of Quitman, died May 30, 2016 at her residence. She was a retired teacher and school librarian.
She was born January 18, 1924 in Jasper County to Everitt and Bertie Sims.
Survivors include her three daughters; Ann, Linda and Dawn Hollingsworth, all of Quitman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Austin Hollingsworth, infant twin sons, Carl and Keith, parents, brother, Jake Sims and sisters, Ouida Kemp and Hilda Caves.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 1, 2016, 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
She was a devoted and godly wife and mother and an avid reader and gardener. She loved her family dearly.
